Tillandsia Butzii Blanco is s a rare version of the traditional Butzii. Traditional Butzii are a dark green and deep purple zebra striped/spotted air plant with wild legs. The Butzii Blanco has an almost faded appearance and has white spots vs. purple spots. It is also hardier and firmer than the traditional Butzii. A really nice plant. Both the traditional Butzii and the Butzii Blanco are unusual from their similar counterparts, the Bulbosa and Caput, due to their striking colors and patterns. I love how interesting they are and ranks in my top favorites.
These plants are low maintenance, making them a great choice for people who are new to indoor plants.
They need regular daily indirect or filtered sunlight (so fine for desks, shelves, bathrooms or bedrooms). A weekly water is all they require - although you can always give them a mist in between if they look a little dry.
Air plants prefer regular air circulation, so we suggest open terrariums rather than the kind with lids.
